Major General Yoav Mordechai, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, said on Sunday, "Israeli genius and the Jewish mind have found a solution for all the terrorist tunnels, and just as there is an Iron Dome [anti-missile defense] in the air, there is a technological steel dome underground."
interviewed on Sunday by Arab television station Al-Hurairah, regarding the destruction of a terror tunnel that was discovered under the Kerem Shalom crossing, where Israel, Gaza and Egypt meet, Mordechai said, "I am also surprised that these are days of reconciliation, and this tunnel was dug in the direction of Israel and from there to Egypt. What message is that for important Egypt?"
