Elkin: Soon half of J'lem's residents will be religious

Jerusalem and Heritage minister Zeev Elkin opened the Globes conference Thursday which for the first time took place in Jerusalem under the auspices of Elkin's ministry.

Elkin commented on demographic changes in Jerusalem and nationwide and said that the economy must prepare for these changes and adapt accordingly. He added that half of Jerusalem's residents would soon be religious and many would need to be integrated into the workforce.
