MK Nava Boker (Likud) who was widowed in the Carmel fires in 2010 referred to the terror attack Tuesday in which Raziel Shevach of Havat Gilad was murdered.
Boker said that this is "painful news. Rabbi Shevach worked as an MDA paramedic and saved lives. Today his own life was taken by an abominable and cursed criminal.
"My heart is with the Shevach family who have lost their most valuable treasure,"Boker said. "I hug and strengthen the MDA members who lost their friend this evening."
She added that "we are struggling at present to transfer a proper budget to MDA in Judea and Samaria. Unfortunately the murderous attack this evening underscores the need for a fully functioning MDA in Judea and Samaria."
