Director Mike Pompeo of the United States Central Intelligence Agency has defended President Donald Trump amid questions about the commander in chief’s mental fitness sparked by a controversial book about Trump’s first year in office and a report last week that Democratic lawmakers met with a psychiatrist to question Trump’s mental health.
Interviewed on on “Fox News Sunday.” Pompeo said, “Those statements are just absurd.”
