Rabbi Ohad Taharlev, whose son Elhai was killed in a terror attack in April, praised a law that would give the death penalty to terrorists. "If this law had already existed, my son would still be alive," said Taharlev. "During the interrogation of the terrorist who murdered Elhai, he said that he was afraid of death. He chose to carry out an attack from which the chances of getting out alive are high, and if he knew he could die, he would not have carried out the attack.
