MK Yisrael Eichler attacked Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid for sending mails claiming that "the haredim are closing towns down on Shabbat" and promising to fight the Supermarket Law "in the courts, the streets and the town centers."
Eichler asked ironically whether guillotines would be placed in town centers for haredim, adding "not only does he conceal the fact that we wish to protect the Shabbat and not to harm or force anyone but merely to protect the status quo, he also doesn't tell people that we are concerned for traditional people who may not be able to find work soon if they don't work on Shabbat. He is involved in incitement."
