MK Aliza Lavie(Yesh Atid) attacked Interior Minister Aryeh Deri who attempted to bring Yehuda Glick away from the shiva for his wife in order to vote on the Supermarket Law.
"This was one of the most shameful acts in Israeli politics. I thought I'd seen everything but the records of wretchedness and cynicism even of Deri were broken. He has lost his Jewish and moral compass," Lavie said.
Lavie said that this proves that there was no struggle for Shabbat but rather a race after political gain even at the expense of humiliating a mourning person whose world has been destroyed.
