The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office has filed a 1.4-million-shekel suit on behalf of the Defense Ministry against two brothers paid by the ministry for acting as escorts for a relative who was a disabled veteran of the Israel Defense Forces.
The brothers hired foreign workers to do the job at a lower price and pocketed the difference. The money sought in the suit is in addition to compensation ordered as part of a plea bargain in the criminal case against the two brothers.
