Workers in the operation and mechanical equipment sector at the Ashdod Port Company started a strike Tuesday morning, following a dispute with management over what they say is management's intent to absorb new workers unnecessarily.
A hearing on the matter is scheduled for 1 pm at the Regional Labor Court in Beer Sheva.
