The Knesset on Monday night approved the second and third readings of the “United Jerusalem” Bill.
64 MKs voted in favor of the bill, 51 voted against and one abstained. The law states that any change in the status of Jerusalem or a decision to hand over land from the city as part of a diplomatic agreement will require the approval of a special majority of 80 Knesset members.
