The Yera'eh organization, which works to encourage going up to the Temple Mount, says 25,628 Jews went up to the holy site in 2017, compared with 14,626 Jews in 2016.
Jews were allowed to go to the Temple Mount 232 days, 63 percent of the 365 days of the year but only 1,023 hours, 11 percent of 8,760 hours this year. 86 Jews were arrested or detained this year on the Temple Mount on suspicion of Jewish behavior, such as prayer, bowing or learning Torah.
