The Cabinet has approved the expansion of the reform by former health minister Yaakov Litzman to finance dental treatments for children up to age 16.
As a result, 140,000 children will be entitled to a wide basket of services free of charge or with a low deductible. These children will join the 2.4 million children currently eligible for the basket of services.
