The Department for Investigation of Police officers in the State Attorney's Office has filed an indictment with the Jerusalem Magistrates Court, charging a 30-year-old policeman serving in the Jerusalem District Police's operational wing for fraud and breach of trust, obstructing legal proceedings and false information.
The policeman is accused of giving a false report regarding operations in the Mea Shearim neighborhood. Due to the false report, a man who was at the scene was arrested and interrogated on suspicion of assaulting a policeman and participating in disturbances.
