MK Tzachi Hanegbi (Likud) denied that the Recommendations Law was designed to shield Prime Minister from prosecution. "The Recommendations Law is irrelevant to the investigations that are being conducted today and are not related to the prime minister," said Henegbi during a visit to Bet El. "The law is designed to restore the balance of power between the police and judiciary."
