At a modest ceremony, the Eilat-Askelon Pipeline Company's director-general transferred to Eilat mayor Meir Yitzhak Halevi the second part of the pipeline company's beach, considered the most beautiful beach in Eilat.
As part of the plan to develop the beaches from Eilat towards Taba and Akaba, the Eilat municipality intends to develop an ecological beach and an environmental educational center which will allow the wider public to learn about the natural sea treasures and how they are being preserved.
