Member of Knesset David Bitan (Likud) invoked the right to remain silent during his fourth round of questioning on allegations of corruption during his term as deputy mayor of Rishon Lezion, which took place today at the national crimes and corruption unit of the Israel Police.
News 2 reported that Bitan expected the investigators to present him with a state's witness agreement that was signed or close to being signed. When no such agreement was presented to him, he informed his interrogators that he had decided to choose the right to remain silent.
