Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked and Communications Minister Ayoob Kara agreed on a quick legislative process to promote MK Sharren Haskel’s bill which would allow Channel 20 to become a commercial channel without any commitments, and permit it to broadcast news under less restrictive conditions.
According to a report in The Marker, Haskel’s bill has already been approved by the Knesset in a preliminary reading and also approved by the Ministerial Committee on Legislation.
