MK Amir Peretz (Zionist Union) attacked former defense minister Ehud Barak for claiming that IDF officers would have to refuse orders in future due to Netanyahu's policies.
Peretz described the statements as dangerous and said they weaken the foundations of democracy, since "what then can we say when religious soldiers refuse government demands to dismantle settlements and favor halakha over IDF orders?
