The Knesset approved a law in a preliminary reading that enables Israelis to pay debts using cash or a pre-paid card.
"There are over a million people in Israel who do not have a credit card and cannot pay their debts. This law will stop that," said Knesset Economics Committee Chairman Eitan Cabel.
