The Foreign Ministry directed ambassadors worldwide to act in diplomatic echelons in their countries in order to persuade various countries not to participate in the UN General Assembly vote Thursday against recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The General Assembly will meet at a special meeting convened by Turkey and Yemen to protest the US recognition of Jerusalem.
