MK Hanin Zoabi (Joint List) said that the Palestinian Authority was using the intifada and pressuring American President Donald Trump to withdraw his recognition of Jerusalem in order to return to negotiations and settle the conflict in a better political situation.
In an interview with the Hamas website Al-Risala on December 18, Zoabi said that "the Palestinian Authority must back the struggle of its people, otherwise it will back the Israelis and the Americans to continue the 100-year deal and expand the settlements."
