Following the injury of children in an explosion in the forest near the city of Elad, ground-forces commander, Major-General Kobi Barak, has appointed an investigation team headed by the head of the training department, Colonel Eran Shani, to examine the circumstances of the incident.
Major-General Barak's decision was made due to the fact that the incident took place in a military fire area.
