The full strike against Teva Pharmaceutical Industries will continue on Monday at the company's headquarters in Petach Tikvah, the Teva Medical plant in Ashdod and the Plantax plant in Netanya, as well as the company's facilities in Jerusalem, in response to the company's announcement, last week, that it would lay off 1,750 employees over the next two years.

About 250 workers in Kfar Saba will stop their plant's activity for four hours from 12 noon. The workers of Teva Megada in Kiryat Shmona, Abik in Netanya and TAPI in the Ramat Hovav Regional Council will hold information meetings near the company's sites. Other protest actions are also expected.

Histadrut Labor Federation Chairman Avi Nissenkorn, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Economy and Industry Minister Eli Cohen are expected to hold a special meeting with the workers and representatives of all the workers' committees at Teva.
