The legal advisor to the Im Tirzu organization, a grassroots Zionist organization in Israel, has asked Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit not to intervene regarding Education Ministry cooperation with the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI).
Im Tirtzu claimed that the minister was faced with a situation in which either the bereaved families would be hurt or the ACRI would be offended and he therefore decided to cancel an assembly so as not to offend the bereaved families
