Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman has decided after consulting with IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot to appoint Brigadier-General (Res.) Kamil Abu Rokon as the new Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories of Judea and Samaria.
Abu Rokon will be promoted to the rank of general with his appointment on Independence Day and will take over from General Yoav Mordechai.
