Science Minister Ofir Akunis(Likud) responded to the Supreme Court ruling stating that Israel has no authority to hold terrorist bodies for negotiating purposes.
Akunis said that "The Israeli public has almost become accustomed to the strange decisions of the Supreme Court, but there's no doubt the judges have broken new records. In this way the court loses public trust.
