CEO Kare Schultz of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries said on Thursday that a supreme effort will be made to reduce harm to the company's employees. He was responding to a request to that effect from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who emphasized workers from peripheral areas during a phone call between the two.

Schultz also responded positively to a demand by Netanyahu that he must do all he can to preserve Teva's identity as an Israeli company.
