Former Acting CIA Director Michael Morell said in an interview on Wednesday that he regrets how intelligence agencies treated Trump after he won the presidency. Morell alleged that the constant leaks about Trump emanating from the CIA caused the president to think that the organization was trying to topple his administration.

"He must have said to himself, ‘What is it with these intelligence guys? Are they political?’ The current director at the time, John Brennan, during the campaign occasionally would push back on things that Donald Trump had said,” Morell said.
