Former Teva chairman resigns from company's board

Yitzhak Peterburg, who previously served as Teva Pharmaceuticals’ chairman and interim chief executive, on Tuesday resigned from the company’s board effective immediately, Reuters reported.

The debt-laden Israeli drugmaker has witnessed a series of changes in recent months after CEO Kare Schultz, who joined Teva on November 1, ousted top division heads and rolled out a plan to streamline operations.
