The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office informed suspended mayor Itamar Shimoni of Ashkelon on Monday afternoon that it has decided to close a case of sex crimes against him due to insufficient evidence.
However, Shimoni is still being prosecuted in the Tel Aviv District Court for bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
