Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expressed support, Sunday evening, for Coalition Chairman David Bitan, who underwent nine hours of questioning by police on Sunday in connection with an investigation into corruption in Rishon Letzion, where he had served as deputy mayor.
Speaking to reporters after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Netanyahu said he appreciates and respects Bitan, and noted that Bitan has the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
