In the coming days the proposed "Elor Azariya" law will be submitted to the Knesset for the first time, according to a Channel 20 report. The law would provide immunity for security personnel who performed criminal actions during the course of operational activity or terror incidents.
The law would not include acts such as pilfering and destroying equipment or taking bribes, sexual offenses or hooliganism during operational activity.
