A 76-year-old Beer Yaakov resident recently filed suit against an Eilat hotel where he had vacationed.
During the vacation the elderly man sat down on a chair which broke and he fell heavily on the ground.
The man suffered injuries to his back, posterior and left leg and was taken by ambulance to the Yoseftal hospital in Eilat after a night of intense pain.
Despite treatment, the man has not recovered from the injury and still suffers pain in his back and left leg as well as having a possible slipped disk.
Yet despite his injuries the hotel refuses to offer any compensation claiming that he merely has a light injury which does not warrant compensation.
