The Foreign Ministry directed Israeli ambassadors worldwide to encourage a positive response from other countries to the American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
The ministry asked Israeli delegations to try and make public statements calling on other countries to move their embassies to Jerusalem.
The message the ministry asked to convey was that the US recognized a reality which exists already since Israel's establishment and that Jerusalem was the city Jews dreamed of for thousands of years.
