Clashes have been reported between dozens of Arabs and the Israel Defense Forces at the Damascus Gate into Jerusalem's Old City.
Earlier on Thursday, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh called for the opening of an intifada uprising against Israel following the United States decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and start the process for moving the US embassy there.
