The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Education announced a general strike on Wednesday night, following U.S. President Donald Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
The ministry called on teachers and students to participate in protest marches scheduled in Gaza, Judea and Samaria and eastern Jerusalem.
