Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked praised President Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"I thank President Trump for his steadfastness under heavy international pressure and recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel, and I hope we will soon see the new embassy in the capital," Shaked said.
"The Palestinians need to know: the rules of the game have changed. The ship changed direction. I recommend that they not test Israel's patience with their terror threats. The United States is Israel's greatest friend, and now it is also taking the first step that should have been made 70 years ago," she added.
