Multiple Senators called on fellow Democratic Party Senator Al Franken to step down after multiple allegations of sexual abuse continue to pile up. Senators Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, Mazie Hirono of Hawaii and Kamala Harris of California all released statements at the same time calling for the Minnesota Senator to resign. "It is clear that Al Franken has engaged in a pattern of egregious and unacceptable behavior toward women," wrote McCaskill.
