Deputy Jerusalem Mayor Dov Kalmanovich says he refuses to get excited over President Trump's expected decision to formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
"The United States is indeed a true friend of Israel, but there is nothing more natural than recognition of Jerusalem as our capital after 2,000 years of hope for the land of Zion and Jerusalem ... The problem is that there are still Jewish elements in Israel who feel the need for American approval for our exclusive right to our eternal capital," he said.
