Housing and Construction Minister Yoav Galant received honorary citizenship of the Jordan Valley in a special ceremony Tuesday.
Galant said that "a strong presence in the Jordan Valley is a guarantee for Israeli citizens security. The people of Israel stand behind you, the government is behind you, holding this region is of tremendous strategic and security significance."
