Disciplinary steps have been taken against a number of army commanders following the theft of munitions from the Homa camp in the Golan Heights about two months ago.
A battalion commander with the rank of lieutenant colonel was reprimanded for failing to fulfill his responsibility for the security of the battalion and for failing to comply with defense instructions. Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot accepted a recommendation to delay the promotion of the officer for two years.
