Sources close to United Nations Ambassador Danny Danon said on Monday evening that the police check ordered by State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan into corruption allegations against Danon will confirm that "All the activities of Ambassador Danon in his public functions have always been in accordance with all the rules and procedures...."
A statement by the sources also said, "We hope that a similar examination will be conducted in other departments of the World Zionist Organization and the JNF [Jewish National Fund -ed.], headed by political representatives from other parties such as Meretz, Zionist Union and additional parties."
