Limor Luria, director of disability pensions at the Bituach Leumi National Insurance Institute, announced today that the institute will re-examine the eligibility of 350 cases of children suffering from cancer who have lost a monthly allowance of 2,000 shekels, following a change in chemotherapy from intravenous to pills.
The examination was requested by Deputy Chairwoman Tali Ploskov at a meeting of the Knesset's Labor, Welfare and Health Committee on the matter.
