Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and their staves held a news conference on Sunday to announce the reform of business licensing that was approved this morning by the government.
Director-General Eli Gruner of the Prime Minister's Office said that Netanyahu "instructed us to come up with a radical solution in the field of licensing businesses, as part of his policy of reducing the excess of regulation in Israel." He added, "For two and a half years, we have been turning over every stone in order to reduce regulation, which directly affects the cost of living."
