Deputy Defense Minister Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan responded to the incident near the village of Kusra in Samaria.
"The shooting was absolutely justified, I don't know Jews who shoot for pleasure. This was a lynch attempt, the Arabs thought they had got easy prey in their hands," Ben-Dahan said.
