A number of local council leaders from across the country have petitioned Prime Minister Netanyahu and Ministers Aryeh Deri and Ayelet Shaked, requesting that the proposed Supermarket Law not be passed.
The local council leaders claim that the proposed law would harm the independence of local councils.
