The Irgun Hamorim teachers' organization has announced its intention to strike high schools and middle schools on Sunday because of violence against teachers.
The union said there was no connection to the labor dispute over the state's wage agreement with teachers. The union recalled that only yesterday, a student broke a rod over the head of a teacher in Tel Sheva, who needed hospital treatment and lost consciousness twice. A complaint was filed with the police.
