Rabbi to IDF: Flashlights OK as Hanukkah lights in the field

Rabbi Ben-Zion Hacohen Kook, head of the Beit Horaah Haclali (General Teaching House) in Jerusalem, has ruled that if necessary, soldiers in the field are allowed to light Chanukah candles with a flashlight and recite the appropriate blessings.
