Israeli police were summoned to a building site in Kfar Saba after it was reported that grenades had been found there during the course of excavation at the site.
Police bomb disposal experts discovered seven grenades from the British Mandate period.
The experts estimate that the grenades were home made by underground groups during the course of the British Mandate.
Police safely removed the grenades from the building site before they were defused.
