At the initiative of Mayor Nir Barkat, the National Authority for Public Transport has approved the operation of a new circular line in Jerusalem from the light rail station at Ammunition Hill to important destinations on the Mount of Olives and the spectacular 7 Arches observatory on the mountain. Egged Line 84 will start running on Sunday, December 3, focusing on the days of demand from Sunday to Thursday between 08:30 and 19:45.
En route from the Ammunition Hill station, the bus will stop at the government center in eastern Jerusalem, President Aharon Katzir Street and the intersection of Yitzhak Hanadiv and Wadi Joz before it gets to the 7 Arches and the Mount of Olives. It will return via the intersection of Yitzhak Hanadiv and Martin Buber, as well as Sderot Ha'universita Ha'ivrit (Hebrew University Boulevard) next to Mount Scopus before ending at the Ammunition Hill station.
